We aim to bring you tales from the trails and adventures on the water that everyone can enjoy. Paired with expert how-to’s and gear reviews for those that want to make their own stories and memories in the outdoors. We believe there is tremendous value in the process and the end result of enjoying a meal that you harvested or foraged directly from nature, and we look forward to sharing that with you.
The outdoors industry has been known to overcomplicate the process of hunting and fishing, so BowTiedSmilodon and BowTiedHalibut have teamed up to share a simplified breakdown of hunting and fishing information in a single place.
We want to build a space where other Jungle toons feel welcome to contribute as well and share their expertise and love for all things outdoors. We are here to encourage people to get off their computers and explore all that the outdoors has to offer.
Having the knowledge and skills to be self-reliant will leave you reassured that you and your family will thrive no matter what happens.

This project is going to start as a free Substack with a few posts per month and an accompanying website with in-depth product reviews, how-to’s, and recommendations in time. We aim to make Jungle Pursuits a place to highlight awesome adventures in the wilderness and on the water from individuals in the jungle and our jungle-adjacent friends.
